The Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics offers several doctoral courses each year. These courses aim to provide doctoral students with a broad knowledge of the research subject and more specific knowledge needed in particular research projects. Beyond the courses that are listed below, it is possible to sometimes (in consultation with the supervisor, the director of studies or the PhD student coordinator) read and be examined on other courses, such as the courses given in our master's programmes (Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics) with an adaption to the doctoral level, or doctoral courses from other universities.
