A doctoral programme comprises four years of full-time study. As a doctoral student, you continue your education by taking courses in your subject area while conducting one or more research projects and writing a doctoral thesis. This is done under the supervision of an experienced researcher.
In addition to expanding your knowledge of a scientific discipline, you also train your critical and analytical thinking. Your studies will teach you to solve problems independently and prepare you for a career in academia and the private and public sector.
