The Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) provides important information if you fall ill or need to look after a sick child, which prevents you from pursuing your studies in the meantime.

Student Health Service
If you still do not know where to turn, you can contact the Student Health Service for advice on where to turn. The Student Health Service can also offer counselling support if you feel stressed, worried, depressed, or have questions about personal relationships. It may also be about your alcohol or tobacco habits, that you have difficulty sleeping or anything else that concerns your health.
Notify your teacher or department
Notify your course coordinator or teacher if you are on sick leave if you need to take an extended break or take a leave from studies.
