If you fall ill and cannot study

If you or your child fall ill and you are unable to keep studying, you may be eligible for sickness benefit. You need to find out what applies so your student finance is not affected.

Report sick leave to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency

The Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) provides important information if you fall ill or need to look after a sick child, which prevents you from pursuing your studies in the meantime.

If you get sick (Försäkringskassan)

If you receive student finance from the Swedish Board of Student Finance (CSN), it is also important that you find out how your sick leave can affect your grants and loans.
