Access to UMA's facilities
Umeå School of Architecture's facilities are currently only open for employees and students, except during public events.
To exit when the School is locked, use the key button located next to the doors. Do not use the green emergency handles. They are intended for emergencies only and will cause the alarm to go off. During the closed night-time hours, campus security officers will ask anyone present in the building to leave the premises.
If your UMU card is not working or you experience any issues related to access to the facilities, please contact our house technician Kent Brodin.

Curiosum facilities
As a student, you also have access our spaces in the Curiosum Building from Monday–Sunday between 06:00–23:59. Use your UMU card and PIN code to enter the building.

Access to the workshop
The doors to the workshop are open 07:45–17:30. You will need your UMU card and PIN code to access the workshop during other hours that allow student access.
Machines can be used from 08:00–17:00. Power to the machines is cut off outside of these hours. You can still operate hand tools and smaller machines throughout the student opening hours (220 V outlets).
