Forskning: Programmerad celldöd i trädets xylemceller

Ackumulering av lignocellulosa påverkas av livslängden hos de vedbildande xylemcellerna. Målet med min forsking är att identifiera delar av den molekylära mekanism som styr xylemcellernas livslängd genom att studera funktionen av vissa nukleaser, proteaser och okända proteiner i både backtrav och hybridaspträd.
