3 groups, each with a local PhD scholar, leaving from the ELRC.

10.00-10.30 Tea and coffee 

10.30-12.00 Reflection over school visits in groups, @ELRC

12:00 – 13:00 Lunch at campus

13.00-14.30 PhD seminar presentations and feedback, session 1

Group work: “My research as a national and global contribution”

Two 45-minute presentations including discussion by PhD scholars (3-4 parallel groups)

15.00 – 17.30  AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE FOR SWEDISH PHDs to TEMBA PRIVATE GAME LODGE (group of 20, 14 in Swedish delegation and 4 of RU PhDs, and 2 bus drivers)

Bus will depart from the Bicycle Artwork Parking Area on Lucas Avenue at 15:00 for those going on the game drive.

17.30-19.00 Joint dinner evening event for all PhDs with Music at the ELRC

8.30-10.00 Lecture and discussion

Education Foundations and Futures – introductory opening to contexts of South Africa and Sweden and interesting developments and perspectives

Professors Heila Lotz-Sisitka, Björn Norlin, Kirk Sullivan and Karin Sporre - with 30 minutes for discussion
