Vipin Tiwari is an early career postdoctoral researcher in optics and photonics with expertise in polarization optics, digital holography, and computational imaging. He obtained his PhD degree from Kumaun University (India) in 2023. Later he joined Chiba University (Japan) as international visiting researcher. He also worked as ERA postdoctoral researcher at University of Tartu (Estonia) for more than one year. His key research interests include polarization optics, optical metrology, digital holography, and computational imaging. During his research tenure, he contributed to the development of advanced polarization imaging techniques and their applications in anisotropy measurements and computational imaging.
Vipin Tiwari is working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Applied Physics and Electronics. He is associated with Associate Prof. Davood Khodadad as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow under the project “Wave-Plast-IQ: Optical Intelligence for Microplastic Quantification in Water” (funded by Kempe foundation). The project aims to enhance real-time detection and classification of microplastic particles. He will contribute to optical metrology, polarization analysis, and simulation to revolutionize microplastic in solid or aqueous medium.
