Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) replication and dynamics in health, senescence, and cancer.
My research focuses on mitochondrial DNA replication and dynamics in health, senescence, and cancer. I specialize in molecular cell biology, integrating biochemistry, microscopy, and omics/bioinformatics approaches. I am currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow in Sjoerd Wanrooij's Lab, and I graduated with a PhD from Paris-Saclay University in 2022. Outside the lab, I enjoy composing music, making films with the Umeå Movie Making Club (UMMC), climbing, and sharing fika with friends.
