I am a PhD student in medicine. My research focuses on the comorbidity between inflammatory bowel disease and spondyloarthritis.
I work as a doctoral student at the Department of Public Health and Clinical Medicine. The overall aim of my PhD thesis is to increase the understanding of extraintestinal manifestations, in particular spondyloarthritis, in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. My supervisors are gastroenterologist Pontus Karling, rheumathologist Helena Forsblad dÉlia, and radiologist Sara Strandberg.
I have previously conducted research on amyloid diseases within Anders Olofssons research group at the Department of Medical Chemistry and Biophysics.
