Nalika Tjärnberg conducts research with a focus on the working environment and psychosocial health of reindeer herders in northern Sweden.
I work as the head of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Region Västerbotten and simultaneously conduct part-time research. The research project is based, among other things, on the Sami public health survey (https://www.umu.se/forskning/grupper/lavvuo/samisk-hlv/) which was carried out in the spring of 2021, with support from the Sami Parliament and the Public Health Authority.
