Doing a PhD in digitalization of transport hubs with a specific focus on data sharing across organizational boundaries in port environments.
I am a doctoral student at the Department of Informatics (40%), a position I share as a digitalization strategist for Kvarken Ports Umeå (50%) and as a researcher at RISE (10%). I study digitalization of transport hubs with a specific focus on data sharing across organizational boundaries in port environments. I would describe my research as close-to-practice and it involves several Nordic ports, but a special focus is on Kvarken Ports. With my research, I want to contribute to identify challenges and opportunities for increased digital data sharing, and in the long run how more coordinated processes can contribute to increased sustainability in the transport sector.
