My research focuses on fluvial carbon cycling and its associated physical, chemical, and biological processes. In my previous research, I studied the transport of dissolved organic carbon and its coupling with dissolved inorganic nitrogen in subtropical small mountainous rivers. Currently, I am focusing on how climate change impacts the dynamics of fluvial metabolism and the export of dissolved organic matter in high-latitude aquatic ecosystems.
