Associate professor in Law, specializing in adminstrative law
Senior Lecturer and docent specialising in administrative law. My areas of scholarly interest are administrative law, constitutional law, social security law, law and technology, medical/health law, privacy and access to information.
My present research covers the digitalisation and automation, as well as artificial intelligence utilsation of public sector services and decision-making. It also covers legal dimensions of cross-actor as well as cross-agency cooperation for return-to-work from the social security system. Other research areas of interest are also the interplay between administrative and constitutional law, as well as administrative law from a rule-of law perspective.
Presently active as PI (2024-2028) in Legal Dimensions of Collaborative Rehabilitation - the role of Swedish Social Security, Employers, and Occupational Health in Enabling Return-to-Work for Employees with Mental Health Issues, financed by FORTE
Also presently active (2021-2025) within the project HYDE – Human agency and the rule of law in semi-automated decision-making systems, financed by The Swedish Research Council.
I currently serve as the Director of post graduate studies/Third cycle education at the Department of Law, Umeå University.
I am currently also co-supervising two doctoral candidate projects.
