The project focuses on determining the role of inclusions in counteracting host cellular defense response and in regulating Chlamydia development. So in general, studying the role of Chlamydia inclusion in evasion of cell-autonomous immunity by using different molecular biologic and microscopic techniques, and thereby also expanding the experimental toolkit for Chlamydia.
