Hinduja did her Master’s from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), India. She received an Erasmus plus scholarship and did her Master's thesis work at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, where she worked on Optical Tweezers. After her Masters, she joined Nicolò Maccaferri lab as a PhD student at Umeå University in Nov 2022.
Her present research is in 2-dimensional infrared spectroscopy (2DIR) of biomolecules. The aim is to understand the DNA-NT-protein interaction, monitor DNA structural changes occurring in the presence of the bound protein.
