I am a historian of ideas and a senior lecturer in education. My research interests include education, contemporary history and historiography.
I am a historian of ideas working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Education. I am also director of studies responsible for education in 'pedagogik' and the department's teaching activities at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
I have two active research projects. One is to compare the four social studies subjects - history, geography, religious studies and social studies - from different perspectives. The other is to investigate the cultural debates of the last 20 years, i.e. debates on the cultural pages of newspapers (funded by the Ridderstads stiftelse för historisk grafisk forskning).
As a teacher, I have teaching experience in teacher training, history of ideas, and gender studies. I value academic exchange with students and colleagues, and find the lecture format, seminar discussions and third stream activities stimulating.
