I work as a professor in psychology, with a focus on clinical psychology, at the Department of Psychology. My research focuses on psychological aspects of being affected by cancer and/or infertility. A common denominator for my ongoing projects is that they are related to the importance of reproductive ability. I am currently conducting research in the areas of:
- Psychosocial aspects of infertility treatment with oocyte- and sperm donation
- Cancer treatment as a child or young adult – focus on reproductive and sexual health
I studied psychology at Uppsala University and received my licence in 1991. Following my dissertation at Uppsala University in 1999, I have also worked with research and teaching at Karolinska Institutet, Mälardalen University and the University of Gävle. I'm currently holding scientific positions at the Swedish Research Council and the Swedish Ethical Review Authority.
