I am a certified teacher of Home and Consumer Studies (HCS) and religion since 2003. At the department I teach mainly at the HCS- education.
My research area is external and internal frame factors within the school subject Home and Consumer Studies. External frame factors such as design of classrooms and lesson time. Also internal frame factors such as collaboration among pupils and how it affects their learning in the classroom. In 2016 I defended my thesis: The school subject Home and Consumer Studies in the 2000s – conditions for pupils´opportunity to reach the goals in the subject. The overall aim of the study was to analyze and understand the impact of frame factors on education, focusing on pupils' opportunities for goal achievement in the subject.
