My primary research interest lies in students’ motivation, preferably in relation to science education. My research also concerns, for example, epistemic beliefs (beliefs about knowledge and knowing), assessment, and students' well-being. Currently, I have an assistant professor position focused on higher education pedagogy.
Originally, I am an upper secondary school teacher in chemistry and biology, and the long-term aim of my research is to contribute to the development of teacher practices to enhance students’ motivation.
