Courses within the College of Information Technology Engineering are highly competitive.
Accepted students will be sent a course list at the beginning of February for the Spring semester and the beginning of August for the Fall semester. In principle, students are allowed to take any courses from the list regardless of their major.

Course levels: Undergraduate courses available. Undergraduate students are not allowed to take graduate courses.
Course types: In general 3 credit courses
Course information: Students can choose any undergraduate course regardless major.

Full time studies (corresponding to 30 hp):
Undergraduate level: 15 credits
Academic year
Ex: Autumn term: September–December

Additional costs
As an exchange student, you do not need to pay tuition fees. However, additional costs may incur.
All international students will automatically be enrolled in the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS). Cost is approx: 70,000 - 80,000 South Korean Won per month. This enrolment is mandatory and only in few cases an application of exemption of the NHIS is approved.
Accommodation
All exchange students are recommended to stay in on-campus dormitory (double room with bathroom).
On-Campus: Students who wish to live on-campus must apply for housing during the online application period. Students who apply for on-campus housing are required to submit a Medical certificate, officially signed or stamped by a doctor. Housing is not guaranteed for all inbound exchange students.

Cost for accommodation is about 1690000 KRW per semester.

Additional information
Soongsil University offer leveled Korean language classes in the evening at no extra cost. These classes provide students with an excellent opportunity to improve their Korean language skills and understand Korean culture.
