Division of International Studies: Course enrollment for courses under the Division of International Studies will be available during the second round of course enrollment.
Business College Courses are extremely competitive and Business College is limiting registration for exchange and visiting students. It is very unlikely that exchange students will be able to register for any classes from the Business College.
Some MAJORS are restricted, regardless of an instructor's willingness to let you join - this is a departmental decision and cannot be superseded.

Additional costs
As an exchange student, you do not need to pay tuition fees. However, additional costs may incur.
Health Insurance: All international students will automatically be enrolled in the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS). Cost is approx: 70,000 - 80,000 South Korean Won per month. This enrolment is mandatory and only in few cases an application of exemption of the NHIS is approved.
Accommodation
Dormitories. Not guaranteed. As a part of the application, there is a dormitory application. Students who wish to stay at the dorm should make sure that they apply for the dormitory. Hankuk University of Foreign Studies has a double occupancy dormitory (both on and off campus dormitory). Dormitory assignment will be given on a first come first serve basis when students apply for it through the online application on the HUFS portal website.

Estimated cost: As of 2024 Fall per semester (16 weeks) Seoul Globee Dorm: 1,156,000 KRW, Seoul International House: 1,620,000 - 2,040,000 KRW, Global Campus HUFS Dorm: 1,300,000KRW.

Additional information
Practical Korean Course: HUFS will introduce a newly adapted language program, Practical Korean Program. Practical Korean Program will consist of 30 hours of course time over 6 weeks, and does not come with any course fee. This course aims to help make the Korean language more approachable for students who wish to ease into the language during their stay at HUFS. Students may apply for this program regardless of their major (including Korean majors).
