Course types: 0,5 credits/course
Academic year
Autumn term: September–December
Winter term: January–April
Additional costs
As an exchange student, you do not need to pay tuition fees. However, additional costs may incur.
Exchange students are required to pay the fees to Western University. All figures are approximate in Canadian dollars for the 2023-2024 year. For more information on costs and fees, see website.
University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP): Approximate Cost: $252 per term (4 months)
Western One Card: Approximate Cost: $35
Bus Pass: All Western students are required to purchase a bus pass. Approximate Cost: $300.
Accommodation
On-campus
Students can apply for on-campus housing. The options are a dormitory-style residences or apartment-style suites and some residences offer a meal plan. Residence accommodation for students on single-term exchange depends on availability.
Off-campus
There are many housing options close to campus. University of Western Ontarios Off-Campus Housing Office can provide a lists of available housing.
