Jag utvecklar beräkningsmetoder för bearbetning av verbal och icke-verbal kommunikation och tillämpar dessa inom social robotik och naturlig språkbehandling. 

Jag motiveras av en djupare förståelse för beräkningsmetoder, deras varför och hur och fokuserar därmed också på förklarbarhet eller förståelse av algoritmer och maskinbeteende.

  • DV3: Beräkningar och språk (5DV208) som omfattar automater och machiner, formella språk, beräkningsbarhet och komplexitet,
  • Student Conference in Computing (5DV184) som omfatter korrekt bildning av forskningsfrågor, litteraturgranskning, lämplig metodik och utvärdering av forskningsresultat, samt forskningsintegritet (t.ex. plagiering, akademisk oärlighet).

Varje år deltar jag i Människa-robotinteraktion (5DV183) där jag undervisar i natural language grounding, dvs. hur robotar kan använda naturligt språk för att interagera med människor i en gemensam fysisk miljö.
