Sången är präglad av den slags vansinnets optimism som var utmärkande för den tid den föddes i. När jag lyssnar på sången idag, 2022, utifrån den värld som har växt fram under dessa 38 år, framstår den som alldeles idiotisk. Men den växer. Efter tio genomlyssningar vill jag ta orden till mig, desperat vill jag inbilla mig att allt är ok, allt blir bra. Jag önskar att ni unga konstnärer som jag har haft nöjet att följa under er masterutbildning ska bejaka Live is Life inför ert konstnärskap, inte som en flykt men som en nödvändig strategi.
