Ideas are like rabbits(1), pizza(2) and shirts(3). They are the things that really are(4), they are more powerful than guns(5) and they can change the world(6).
We all get ideas all of the time, they come in the shower and on vacations, received like through a magic antenna, or just as a part of everyday work.
But ideas are also cheap, easy and common. Without any kind of transformation, communication or other ways of materialising them, they are just that, ideas that no one else can see or touch or hear.
Schopenhauer wrote that as soon as you try and put a thought into words, it ceases to be true.
If that is the case, everything is a lie but at the same time a challenge to keep as close to the initial thought as possible, to keep all mediation to a minimum. What is this minimum?
Here we are 18 people, all with our own ideas, and our own way from initial thought to some kind of physical manifestation of it. In that way, as much as this show is about great ideas, it is also about how these ideas become tangible.
