We are looking forward to celebrating our students' graduation in Aula Nordica at Umeå University's Campus on May 31 at 4.30 pm - approx. 6.30 pm.
Our Dean, Mats Bergman, will guide us through the ceremony. Students will receive a certificate, some prizes are awarded and there will also be music and singing.
After the ceremony, there will be a mingle with light drinks and snacks.
Registration and tickets
Registration is mandatory for all guests and students. The student who invited you also registers and collects your tickets.
Bring the ticket with you to the ceremony, you will have to show them at the entrance to the aula.
Place and time
The doors open at 3.50 pm. Free seating to all guests and we recommend to be in time to find a seat, especially if you are a group that wants to sit together. There is also seating on the balcony.
All students have reserved seats and are sitting with their group, ie not with their guests.
At the end of May, a map of seats will be available here.
If children attend the ceremony, tickets must also be booked for them. The ceremony is quite long, so keep in mind that small children can easily get bored.
If you have a disability and you need a special place to sit, please - contact Therese Sarlin (therese.sarlin@umu.se) and she can reserve a seat for you.
Personal congratulations during the ceremony
As family and friends to our graduating students you can send in congratulations and greetings. The greetings will be shown during the ceremony in Aula Nordica.
Since there is a limited number of seats in the aula it is very important that if you not can attend to the ceremony, please cancel your seat. Send an email to Therese Sarlin (therese.sarlin@umu.se).
Mingle after the ceremony
All guests and students are welcome to a mingle after the ceremony at Brashörnan and Universum. Light drinks and snacks are available.
