The Stones

By the stones, you can break records or just change perspective for a moment.

Challenge

Use your whole body to touch as many stones as possible at the same time. Can you break the record of seven stones?

Change your perspective by stepping onto a rock or squatting down. What differences do you see? How can you take these insights with you?

Food for thought

The ability to see new things is sometimes about changing perspective, in your mind and sometimes in practice, as in the challenge above. Is there a moment you remember that made you change your perspective and influenced your way of being, thinking and acting?

In which contexts, and against which people, is it important for you to win?

What the research says

People have different personality types and respond differently to reality. Is it possible to categorise personalities – or is it just nonsense? Read more: Curious about personalities.

The next physical movement challenge is not far away

What is physical literacy?

Physical literacy, or ‘rörelserikedom’ in Swedish, takes a holistic view of each individual’s ability to move.

Physical literacy is not the same as physical activity or fitness; it includes motivation, self-confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding. It allows each individual to develop their mobility skills and feel motivated and excited about movement.

The more daring and willing a person is to be physically active in different social contexts and physical environments, the better their chances of having an active, healthy life and to grow and flourish as a human being.
