The Lindel Hall

At Lindellhallen, you can both pause and maximise.

Challenge

Use the outdoor environment as an activity space. Dips, box jumps or stretches – adapt to your needs.

Use your imagination and try to come up with many different ways to jump that involve interaction with the structures in the environment. Are you in a group? Challenge each other!

Food for thought

The Swedish word hopp means both ‘jump’ and ‘hope’. According to the dictionary, a ‘jump’ involves the body leaving the ground for a short time and ‘hope’ is about believing in improvement. What gives you hope in everyday life and for the future? What helps you to feel hope?

Health on Campus

You know about Health on Campus, right? Once a semester, students and staff are offered a smorgasbord of free lectures, physical activities and workshops on the topic of physical activity and health. The next Health on Campus will take place on 19 February 2025.

The next physical movement challenge is not far away:

What is physical literacy?

Physical literacy, or ‘rörelserikedom’ in Swedish, takes a holistic view of each individual’s ability to move.

Physical literacy is not the same as physical activity or fitness; it includes motivation, self-confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding. It allows each individual to develop their mobility skills and feel motivated and excited about movement.

The more daring and willing a person is to be physically active in different social contexts and physical environments, the better their chances of having an active, healthy life and to grow and flourish as a human being.
