Researchers
Are you interested in research collaboration with UMERC or are you interested in visiting UMERC? You can then contact an individual researcher, if you have found interesting information about specific research in UMERC. Or you can contact the director of UMERC, Torulf Palm.
Postdocs
It is possible to visit UMERC as a postdoc, for research collaborations or development of your own research. In order to handle requests in an efficient manner, send the following information to Torulf Palm, the director of UMERC:
CV - description of education and research activities.
Dissertation - link to fulltext is preferred, but at least an abstract.
Research collaboration - what research group(s) or project(s) within UMERC you see as suitable for collaboration, and describe what your contribution could be.
What do you expect from UMERC?
Financial situation:
If you have your own funding for the visit.
If you apply for funding from UMERC (normally, we cannot give this type of financial support).
If you apply for funding from some other organization and wish to have a letter of intent from UMERC.
Research students
If you are a research student and want to visit UMERC, you can either contact an individual researcher that is active in research relevant for your own research interests, or you can contact the director of UMERC, Torulf Palm. If you want to become a research student, you can find information about relevant announcements on the page about open positions. Unfortunately, UMERC does not have any regular funding for research students, but you can describe your interest to the director of UMERC, Torulf Palm, and you will then be informed as soon as there is an announcement available.
