Snickers – Work Belt

This project has been done in collaboration with Snickers workwear during 6 weeks. The purpose is to explore a new approach to economic tool carrying for electricians and help them in their workflow. As an electrician, pending tasks require carrying different tools and working in different positions, rather than working on the floor, standing, or being up on a ladder. After interviewing two users and identifying their needs, along with guidance from the external partner during the design process, a solution was developed. After generating ideas and choosing one potential concept, it leads to the result. The result is a work belt with a stomach pocket and two side pockets. The stomach pocket offers multiple small pockets for different tools, such as pens, screwdrivers, and so on. On the shoulder band, there is a hook for electrical tape and an adjustable flashlight for situations when it is dark.
