Vania Panes Lundmark
The time in between. When the transition happens. Where are you then? When you know that it has started and that it will end. But not right now.Completely still, at the junction of friction and gravity. And the movements inside of the body.
'Every work is an experiment. When the end has begun but not yet come to pass. Liminality. This time in-between, the process, the life. This question of what we do with the time we have. And the privilege.'
Threads – stretched, lifted, plucked, wound up and unwound, bound to an image. A needle is threaded through the eye, while the point seeks an opening through which to draw the thread to form a stitch. A collage – body, line, and thread oscillates – it twists and turns. The rise of the hand is a somersault – a choreography of action.
