UCMR arranges a yearly conference each year, UCMR Day. It takes place at Umeå University campus in mid-January.
UCMR arranges a yearly lunch-to-lunch retreat for all PIs affiliated to the centre.
UCMR together with MIMS organizes the annual Umeå Infection Symposium in August.
UCMR supports microbial research conference initiatives at Umeå University. There is a call for UCMR members to apply for funding.
