Facilities at UID include student studios, staff offices, class rooms, holkens (group rooms), workshops and labs, staff and student kitchen, student sauna, and common spaces.
All workshops and labs are accessible to all enrolled students 24/7
Students can book rooms for shorter periods of time
Umeå Institute of Design have two Resting Rooms
Full-time studentys are entitled to one material cabinet/workshop
Once registered, all students receive a key card that will permits access 24/7
