Campus: Main campus is situated in Mankato but the university also has three satellite campuses.
Student life: On campus there is a recreation centre offering a number of training activities, sports clubs, climbing walls.

Student Activities Office organises several activities in campus, for example: theatre, music performances, film screenings, festivals and job fairs.

About Mankato

Mankato with surrounding areas has over 40,000 inhabitants. In and around the city there are parks, nature areas, lakes, rivers, gorges and woodlands. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, such as cross country skiing, snowmobiling, downhill skiing, hiking, canoeing and cycling. There are also a number of vineyards where visitors can try grape stomping.

As an exchange student, you do not need to pay tuition fees. However, additional costs may incur.
 
Mandatory insurance must be paid by student accepted for exchange.

Student grants and loans for studies outside of Sweden

You may be entitled to student grants and loans from CSN when studying abroad.

As the cost of living and accommodation may be higher abroad, you can apply for an extra loan known as an additional loan for studies abroad.

You can also apply for an additional loan to cover additional costs, i.e. travel and insurance costs.
