The University has four campuses, Handen Campus is the main campus, situated a 20 minutes' drive from central Shanghai.
Student life:
Student clubs play an important role in the campus culture. There are over 300 student clubs encompassing interests such as media, dance, music, politics, theatre, chess, card games, outdoor activities and sports.

Fudan University was ranked no. 44 by the QS World University Rankings 2019.

With its 24 million citizens, it is one of the most populous cities in the world. People's Square, located in the heart of downtown Shanghai, hosts several parks and museums. An undergraduate diploma is needed in order to study at a graduate level. If you are studying an integrated masters, it is possible to apply for graduate studies.

Additional costs 

As an exchange student, you do not need to pay tuition fees. However, additional costs may incur.

Mandatory insurance must be purchased by students who are accepted for an exchange. This costs approximately 400 CNY per semester.

Accommodation 

Exchange students can apply for housing online, however, there is no guarantee that there is any housing available. If university-administered accommodation is not available, the Student Mobility Section will do its best to help exchange students find accommodation.

Student grants and loans for studies outside of Sweden

You may be entitled to student grants and loans from CSN when studying abroad.

As the cost of living and accommodation may be higher abroad, you can apply for an extra loan known as an additional loan for studies abroad.

You can also apply for an additional loan to cover additional costs, i.e. travel and insurance costs.
