As soon as you have been admitted, you need to register in Ladok, so that you can register to take exams and see your results. However, during your studies, you will spend most of your time in Canvas, the university's learning platform. Read more about Ladok, Canvas and the student web.
Student Office – for post gradual students
The department's Student Office is located on floor 4 in the MIT-building. If you have questions regarding admission and registering for courses, please turn to the study administrators via e-mail: studexp@cs.umu.se. You can easily order your result certificate, a certificate of registration, or a copy of your degree certificate here. (Umu ID).
As a student in computing science, you will work with computers located in a local network, separated from the university's other computers. This means, e.g., that you will have a computer user with storage space locally on the department's system. We also provide our own support staff for computer systems in the department. If you have a support question related to the department's computer system, you can e-mail: support@cs.umu.se.
Your teacher will ensure that your timetable is structured according to the University's rules, that the teaching and examinations are carried out according to the syllabus and that study results are reported, including course evaluations.
List of teachers responsible for the course
