General study guidance

You can contact a general study counsellor at the Student Services Office with lots of questions such as if you wish to plan your future studies, if you are uncertain about your current choice of studies or if you have general questions about leave from studies or studies abroad. Read more here about how we can help you.


The general study counsellors may help you with questions about

  • how to plan your future studies;
  • uncertainty about your current choice of education;
  • entry requirements or selection rules and procedures;
  • rights and obligations as a student or degree regulations;
  • general questions about approved leave from studies or non-completion of studies; and
  • general questions about studies abroad.

We have a duty of confidentiality and do not pass on personal information without your consent.

Book an online meeting or a telephone meeting

Book an online meeting or a telephone meeting with a general study counsellor for study information or for start-up of an individual guidance process. If needed, you can then book longer sessions with the study counsellor.

Save the confirmation email of your booking! It includes a link for rescheduling or cancellation. It also includes a link to the meeting if you have booked an online meeting. Please check your spam filter if you cannot find the confirmation email. Add the sender to your safe list to make sure you receive future emails.

You can book a meeting 7 days in advance. Available appointments are released continuously and due to cancellations sometimes at short notice.
