How an online meeting works
An online meeting with the Student Health Service works approximately like a video call in Zoom, but another program with a higher level of security and confidentiality is used. Prior to your online meeting, you will receive an email with a link. When you click on the link, your default web browser will open and you will join a digital waiting room from where your counsellor can call you. The digital service works on your computer, mobile phone and tablet. The link works with all common web browsers. If there are any technical difficulties, your counsellor will phone you on your mobile phone.
Important to know before the counselling session
According to the Swedish Patient Data Act, we need to write a record in a journal for your visits to us. You must therefore bring a form of identity to your visit so that we know that you are really you.
All staff at the Student Health Service are bound by professional secrecy, which means that nothing you say during a counselling session may be carried on.
