What the Student Health Service offers
You can turn to the Student Health Service for help if you feel stressed, worried, depressed, or have questions about personal relationships. It may also be about your alcohol or tobacco habits, that you have difficulty sleeping or anything else that concerns your health.
At the Student Health Service, you can find social counsellors, nurses, psychologists, a physiotherapist and a public health planner. All our services are free of charge and we have a professional obligation of confidentiality. The Student Health Service is also LGBTQI-certified.
If you have a disability and wish to apply for support, please read more on Study with disabilities.
About the national website – Studenthälsa.se
The national website for student health – Studenthälsa.se collects facts, advice and guides for self-help in student health in one place. Here you can also access recorded lectures, real stories from students and exercises that can help you as a student to feel better.
Please note! Studenthälsa.se is a complement to the local Student Health Service on Campus Umeå. If you want to book an appointment for individual counselling, visit drop-in or get advice via telephone, please contact the Student Health Service at Umeå University.
