Associated professor in Biomedical Laboratory Science
Recognised university teachar and licensed Biomedical Scientist
I´m a licensed Biomedical Scientist and associated professor, I have been teaching at the Biomedical Scientist program since 2004. I’m course coordinator and examiner för the courses Clinical Pathology and Genetics and for Clinical Biomedical Laboratory Science I and II which contain internship within the direction of Laboratory Medicine and the module Individual Laboratory Methodology. My teaching constitutes of laborations at our course lab, especially focusing on histology methodology, western blot and fundamental laboratory techniques.
During the years 2004-2023 I´ve been course coordinator and examiner for the courses Scientific Methodology and Management and Scientific Report within Biomedical Laboratory Science. That has entailed the I´ve prepared a material for teaching concerning scientific documentation that runs as a common thread threw the program. As a part of this work I´ve attended the course “Skrivum”.
I´ve a large pedagogical interest and my teaching is based on student activities and I like to test new technical solution within my teaching. I use the flipped classroom methology where the students are taking a big responsibility for learning and planning. Due to my pedagogical merits I´m estimated as a recognised university teacher and I´ve received the Pedagogical Price of the Medical Faculty.
I´m a work environment representative for personnel and students at the Biomedical Laboratory Science program.
