My research activities focus on population, food web, and ecosystem dynamics in response to climate change, using mathematical models, field studies, and experiments. I am primarily interested in the ecology of plankton and fish, both freshwater and marine.
In my main project, funded by the FORMAS Early-Career Researcher Grant, I am working on global change effects on freshwater ecosystems through shifts in community size structure.
I teach in a few courses that include subjects such as aquatic ecology, animal systematics, and wildlife ecology and management.
