Vincent Rusanganwa is postdoctoral researcher in Magnus Evander’ Group. His research interest is the combination of health systems and infectious diseases’ epidemiology.
Vincent is medical doctor with experience in clinical, public health, and epidemiology. He obtained his PhD in medical science with an orientation in public health, focusing his research on enhancing the quality of clinical laboratory services within healthcare delivery systems. During his doctoral studies, his focus encompassed identifying systemic factors that facilitate laboratories in providing high-quality services and enhancing surveillance of infectious diseases.
Vincent is currently postdoc in Magnus Evander Group and investigating on epidemiology of arthropod-borne viruses of interest, especially in Rwanda which can affect other parts of the world. His research also delves into understanding the system-level factors that contribute to effective surveillance of these viruses.
