I am a registered dietitian and doctoral student. My research project focuses on inclusion in relation to school lunches, with an emphasis on students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition or ADHD.
I am a registered dietitian and worked in the profession for ten years before starting my position as a doctoral student at the Department of Food and Nutrition Science in the fall of 2020. As a dietitian, I have worked in hospital care, home healthcare, and habilitation services, gaining experience with both children and adults. I have a particular interest in nutrition related to swallowing difficulties.
As a PhD student, I am part of a research school focused on educational science, with my research centered on school meals. Specifically, I explore inclusion and the social, physical, and educational aspects of school meals for students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or ADHD. My work is grounded in special education perspectives and disability studies.
