Per Ragnarsson

I am Assistant University Director and Budget Director at Umeå University. In my role as Assistant University Director, I am member of the University Management and chair the University’s Crisis Management Council. I am also manager of the heads of the Planning Office, Financial Office and Research Support and Collaboration Office.

In my role as Budget Director, I am tasked with overall financial issues such as budget and allocation of resources, financial follow-up and calculations.

Previously, I have worked as head of finances in the social administration of Umeå municipality, and as controller at Umeå municipality and two other municipalities in the Stockholm region. I have also been Acting University Director of Umeå University, and in 2016, I was project manager on 50 per cent for a national assignment by the Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ).

I am a qualified economist after studies at Umeå University from 1985–1989.
