I am a docent of mathematics.
Embarking on my mathematical journey over thirty years ago, my passion for this inspiring discipline has not waned but has only flourished. From the moment I delved into its intricate layers, I found myself enamored with the beauty and power of mathematics - a foundational pillar that upholds modern world society.
My professional journey has not only been about unraveling the mysteries of mathematics through research and teaching but also about shaping and fostering a vibrant and sustainable mathematical community for the future.
My research spectrum primarily spans across the intriguing worlds of several complex variables, pluripotential theory, and differential geometry. This includes diving deep into subjects ranging from Kähler geometry to polyfold theory. But, like any curious explorer, I sometimes venture beyond these realms. Instances of such explorations include the Lenz-Ising model in statistical mechanics and delving into elasticity problems, the Schmeidler expected utility model in finance, and MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) in wireless communication.
Recognizing the inherent beauty of mathematics, I believe in making it accessible and relatable to all. This implies involving myself in exploring educational psychology and discerning the perceptions of specific student groups. This interest satisfies my own curiosities and refines and enriches my teaching methodologies.
Outside the world of definitions and theorems, my time is often spent on the sidelines, cheering on my son during his training sessions and sporting events. However, when the universe grants me those rare moments of respite, you can find me in the heart of my kitchen, experimenting with flavors, cooking up a storm, or baking delightful treats.
