I am Deputy Vice-Chancellor for education on the first- and second-cycle level.

I am Deputy Vice-Chancellor of research and postgraduate education within the social sciences and humanities at Umeå University. I am also Professor of Social and Economic Geography.

I am Vice-Chancellor of Umeå University since 1 July 2016. As the chief executive of the University, I lead the ongoing work and represent the University both internally and externally

I am University Director since 2020, and from 2022 also the national coordinator appointed by the Swedish government in a project aimed at improving access to clinical placements for nursing students.

I am Pro-Vice-Chancellor and responsible for research and doctoral education in medicine, natural sciences and technology, and third-stream activities and internationalisation.

I am Assistant University Director and Budget Director at Umeå University.
