Resarch: To understand the circadian system and its multiple regulatory roles we need to know what proteins are parts of this clock complex and how they interact with each other. We work with forward and reverse genetics in Arabidopsis in order to discover new circadian clock components and elucidate their roles. Also, we use a deciduous tree, Populus, to better understand clock function in the seasonal context i.e. in the cycling between growth and dormancy.
