I have a PhD in Political science and work as an Associate professor at the Centre for Principal Development. My research is focused on education policy and governance. I am currently researching marketization and its consequences in two externally funded research projects with a focus on preschool and student health. I also work together with principals in a collaborative research project on leadership for teaching and learning.
In previous projects, I have studied local processes to support the integration of newly arrived adults in sparsely populated areas, Swedish independent school companies and their international operations, evaluation policy for compulsory education, as well as conditions and implementation of practical research collaboration between universities and school principals.
I teach on the master's course Leadership and organization with a focus on educational leadership: theoretical and methodological perspectives and supervise master theses.
