I am a docent in psychology and work as a researcher in environmental psychology. I study individual drivers and barriers for attitudes and behaviors with an impact on our natural environment. I am interested in sustainable behavioral change and the interaction between behavior and policy. I currently work in an interdisciplinary project about geese and goose management where I study interest groups attitudes and behaviors to better understand how to achieve a sustainable goose management. In another interdisciplinary project, I study private forest owners and other actors as part of forest transitions with a focus on increasing the share of broadleaves (Trees for me). I have a special interest to study how forest actors perceive risks for damages in forests given the need to adapt the forest to a changing climate.

I defended my thesis in psychology in 2008 and was appointed docent in 2016. I have through the years worked in several interdisiciplinary projects with both social science and natural science researchers, often in close collaboration with practitioners.
