I am trained as a biomedical analyst in laboratory medicine and graduated at Umeå University in the middle of the pandemic in 2020. Immediately after, I started in Mattias Forsell's lab and worked with antibody tests against SARS-CoV-2 - both home testing for Region Västerbotten and on behalf of the public health authority. After that, I continued my education and obtained a Master's degree in laboratory medicine at Uppsala University in 2022.

Now I'm a PhD student and my project is about following the immune system of older people and seeing how the new mRNA vaccines work in relation to younger people, as well as contributing knowledge about how booster doses are needed to continue to protect the elderly.
